  Happy  May  Gator Families! Can you believe we are in our last full month of the year!?  If there were ever a time to be kind, this is the year for it!  As we dive into our final full month of school, we continue focusing on kindness and revisiting friendship skills.  Our Second Step lessons will complete this month with the continued focus on the bullying unit.  As a reminder, the  unit focuses on bullying prevention by teaching students and staff to recognize and respond effectively to bullying and supports helpful student and staff norms about bullying.   The unit teaches students to recognize, report and refuse bullying whether they witness it or are bullied themselves. As always, if you prefer that your child does not participate in the whole-group instruction for these units or lessons, please communicate that preference to your child’s classroom teacher prior to the lesson.  Thank you for your support as we work to build a safe and supportive school community.   Featuring...

April 2022 Newsletter

Hello Gator Families! For another short month, we sure had a jam-packed, fun March!  We held our musical, which was one of the best I have seen yet!  We also ended our month with a beach day ( wishful thinking of weather to come ) and had a great time with the PBIS celebrations and activities.  Students (and staff) seemed to really love hula dancing, tossing leis, and getting low with the limbo!  Featuring... 3rd Grade Each month, we have tried to feature a different grade level and the fun things they are doing at school.  This month, we feature our third grade students ! Our third graders are a really fun group of students who love to learn.  They are sweet, kind, and caring and show really great leadership for the younger students.  These are a few of my favorite photos from activities and learning this past month! WI Forward Students in grades 3 and 4 will begin taking the Wisconsin Forward Exam this week and continue through the month of April. This assessment will be used to gaug
