Hello Gator families! It is amazing that we are already rapidly approaching the midpoint of the school year. I have spent a great deal of time trying to meet all of the students and the important people in their lives - YOU! I want to thank you so much for visiting our school during the fun events we plan for our community. Our Family Fitness Night had a tremendous turnout! I may have lost in the scooter races, but I still consider the night a great success! As discussed in our October updates, Green Tree is trying to earn 10,000 gator grins by winter break. It is a rather lofty goal, but our students are amazing as they continue to demonstrate the gator way both in and out of the classroom. Even more exciting, the students are impressing us daily with their application of the Second Step skills we have been learning throughout the year. Please continue to ask your stud ents what skills they are learning about and how they are using them both in and out of school. G ree
