Happy New Year Gator families!
As we embark on a new year, we are looking forward to many exciting school activities planned for Green Tree students in 2020! The second half of the school year will be filled with academics, community, and celebrations! Due to the two short months in a row, we will be combining the January and February newsletter into one!
As we proceed into the next half of the school year, the school curriculum pace tends to increase and the most complex information is being taught by Green Tree staff. It becomes critical that our students are consistently here at school ready to learn. Together, home and school can make an effective team working toward the academic success of our children. If you have any questions or concerns about how your students' attendance impacts academics, please do not hesitate to reach out to us.
Believe it or not, pre-enrollment for the 2020-21 school year is right around the corner and begins Monday, February 3rd for 4K and 5K enrollment (5K students who are currently in our 4K program do not need to re-enroll). Families can register at ESC or Green Tree during the school day beginning on February 3rd. Evening hours will be available on February 4 from 4 - 7 pm at district office. It is our desire to share with the community all the amazing things taking place here, so please call Mrs. Corazzi at 335- 5520 to schedule an appointment to show you around!
Speaking of wonderful things, our students met their goal to earn 10,000 gator grins! We will be celebrating on February 14th with a kick-off assembly featuring skits from some of our cool high school friends, followed by enrichment activities to celebrate the positive culture our students build at Green Tree.
MakerSpace
The staff at Green Tree are in the process of building a MakerSpace, a space designed for making and dedicated to hands-on creativity.
