All Aboard!!!
The time has officially arrived! Our theme this year is Learning is a Journey and we are so excited for all of our little passengers to fill these halls once again. As we prepare for this new adventure, I want to take a moment to share some new information, updates, and reminders.
New Staff
We have some new staff members for you to meet this year! Please welcome the following people to Green Tree:

Arrival to School
- Parent Drop-Off begins at 8:30am.
- Parents and guardians will be allowed to walk students to their lines outside of the school.
- Busses will use the front loop to drop off students in the morning. Cars will not be able to enter or exit the parking lot between 8:20 and 8:45.
- Student drop off is at the end of both driveways on Green Tree Road or using the path to the back of the school on 18th Avenue. Parents are asked to adhere to current guidelines updated throughout the year by our district office if they are on the building grounds.
*We encourage parents and guardians to park or drop off on or near 18th Avenue if your child’s arrival line is located in the back (west) side of the school. To find your student's line area, please review the map below.
Students riding the bus will be dropped off in the front of the school. Students will be dismissed from the bus at 8:30am by a supervisor (with the exception of breakfast students who will be dismissed at 8:25am).
Kindergarteners will enter through Door 3
1st graders will enter through Door 2
2nd graders will enter through Door 4
3rd graders will enter through Door 5
4th graders will enter through Door 8
Students are expected to be in the building between 8:35 - 8:45am each morning. School begins at 8:45am and ends at 3:30pm. If a student will be late or absent, please call the Green Tree Administrative Assistant, Tina Corazzi, at 262-335-5520 to report a late or absent student.
Dismissal from School
School is dismissed at 3:30pm. Teachers will lead their students out of the building at 3:30pm.
- Kindergarten and First Grade will exit through Door 2
- 2nd Grade will exit through Door 1
- 3rd and 4th grade will exit through Doors 8
- Bus Students will be called to the loading area (gym) by bus route to line up according to assigned bus seats. Students are expected to sit in their assigned seats on the bus for the duration of the ride.
- Kool Kids students will be called to the cafeteria after bus students are in the loading area.
- Cars will not be allowed to enter or exit the parking lot between 3:25 - 3:40pm.
Please plan to pick up your youngest student first if you are meeting them on the building grounds. We encourage parents to work on a meeting location on campus with students to help expedite the pick-up process.
All students who are walkers/parent pick-up will use the sidewalks to travel back to vehicles. Walking through the staff parking lot is strongly discouraged and unsafe.
