Hello Gator Families! Before moving into the October happenings, I'd like to recap some of the fun we had in September. Gator Grin cards were introduced to students the second week of school. Each card has a space for 15 stamps. When students fill up a card, they turn the card into their classroom teacher to be counted towards the schoolwide incentive. At the end of each week, a class or a grade level with the most cards turned in earns a celebration. Below are some of the celebrations we've had so far: First grade classes won a special lunch with the principal outside Mr. Bury's 3rd grade class won a "Chalk the Walk"- where they can decorate the sidewalks at the entrance of the school Kindergarten classes won story time with Snappy We set a goal to earn 300 cards as a school and met that goal last week! As a celebration, all students will be earning a 30 minute movie this Friday. Our next goal is to earn 600 for another fun, schoolwide celebration! Wish us l...
